Canadian Brass and the University of Illinois School of Music are proud to announce the first Canadian Brass Summer Chamber Music Workshop.  The program will be held on the campus in Urbana IL, from July 2-5, 2014.  The seminar is designed for brass players of all ability levels, ages high school and up.  The curriculum will include participants being coached in a large brass ensemble and in individual instrument master classes, among many other exciting activities. For those interested, there will be the possibility of being coached also in brass quintets.  Ronald Romm, the renowned former Canadian Brass trumpeter and University of Illinois trumpet professor, will be featured as a special guest.  The final concert will have all the participants performing together in a huge brass blowout.  Dorm housing and meals will be included in the cost of attendance.  Come and be a part of this amazing summer event and learn from the world’s most highly regarded brass chamber ensemble.
