What if Canadian Brass Met Satchmo?
Canadian Brass is pleased to announce the release of their latest CD, Swing that Music – a Tribute to Louis Armstrong. The album’s US release date is April 28th. The CD will get its initial promotional push from Musical Heritage Society- the venerable music club and premier source for essential classical and jazz CDs. The recording is available at the Canadian Brass Store and MHS will prominently present the album on its website, with sound-clips, detailed information and special pricing as well as make the CD a “pick of the month” for May & June…
it will be highlighted as the cover disc of their special “summer savings” mailer, sent to all their members across the US and Canada. The album will also be featured in The Review, the clubs in-house magazine. In conjunction with a planned Louis Armstrong campaign, beginning in May – Swing That Music will be bundled with a Canadian Brass shirt and offered on the Jazz Store – the Musical Heritage Society online jazz store. There is also an exciting promotion with MHS and Canadian Brass/Opening Day Entertainment Group tied to the release – members who purchase any three Canadian Brass and/or ODEG CDs will receive a Canadian Brass baseball hat for FREE – just in time for baseball season!
